Career and Internship Fairs

The Career Center sponsors several annual career fairs. Career fairs are an excellent opportunity for employers and students to speak about career trends and potential employment opportunities. Graduate programs and professional schools are invited to participate in the Fall 09 Career Fair.  Students from all majors and all levels (first year through alumni) are invited to attend.  The following events are scheduled for 2009 - 2010.  

The Career Fairs are open ONLY to students and graduates of Colorado State University.

  • Dress to impress

Fall 2009 Career Fair & Graduate School Fair

Day 1: Focus on Science, Environment, Health, and Social Services

Tuesday September 15, 2009, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Lory Student Center, Main Ballroom

This day will focus on career opportunities in Science, Environment. Natural Resources, Agriculture, Recreation & Tourism, Sports Medicine, Health, Wellness, Social Services, and Criminal Justice.  Opportunities for employers to conduct next-day interviews will be available.

In addition to employers, graduate schools and professional programs in Science and Health fields will be invited to attend. 

Day 2: Focus on Management, Finance, Liberal Arts, and Marketing

Wednesday September 16, 2009 - 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Lory Student Center, Main Ballroom

This day will focus on career opportunities in Business Management, Hospitality, Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Marketing, Communications/Media, Retail, and Sales.  Opportunities for employers to conduct next-day interviews will be available.

 In addition to employers, graduate schools and professional programs in Business fields and Law Schools will be invited to attend.

Day 3: Focus on Engineering and Technology

Thursday September 17, 2009 - 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Lory Student Center, North Ballroom & Cherokee Park

This day will focus on Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, & Physics.  Opportunities for employers to conduct next-day interviews will be available.

In addition to employers, graduate schools and professional programs in Engineering and Technology fields will be invited to attend.


Agricultural Sciences Career Fair

October 13, 2009, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Lory Student Center

Career Fairs are an excellent opportunity for employers, internship providers and ongoing education resources to speak to students and alumni about career trends, employment, internships and ongoing educational opportunities.

The Fall Agriculture Career Fair is an annual event that is attended by over 50 employers from the vast field that is defined as “agriculture”, covering everything from horticulture to equine science and everything in between. Wednesday, February 3: Career Fair Day

Promote your company & organization to CSU students and alumni interested in full-time, part-time, internship, seasonal, and volunteer positions.  The Spring Career Fair has typically been attended by 100+ employers and 1,600+ students and alumni representing all academic majors.

Thursday, February 4: Interview Day (optional)

Since you're already in Fort Collins, take advantage of a convenient opportunity to interview the students you meet at the Career Fair.  Create your own interview schedule at the fair and invite students to interview the next day. 


Engineering Career Fair

The College of Engineering will hold its annual Career and Internship Fair for students on Thursday, February 25, 2010. The fair is a valuable opportunity for engineering students and employers to connect with one another and for students to learn more about professional opportunities from employers in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Teacher Job Fair

The Teacher Job Fair provides an opportunity for licensed teachers in all certification areas to meet with hiring officials from over 70 districts in Colorado. During this event, employers will collect resumes and interview teacher candidates for the next academic year.
